Artemis Crane Corporation’s Charitable Causes for 2011
The Rotary Foundation
Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. Through Rotary Foundation grants and programs, Rotarians and other contributors can help change the world. They can finance a well for a village that lacks clean water, improve the environment, or provide scholarships to educate the next generation. The grants and programs available to Rotarians allow them to realize Rotary’s humanitarian mission throughout the world, including its number-one goal of eradicating polio.

Dental Care for Children

Founded in 1991 by pioneer dentist and philanthropist Dr. Charles Tozzer, Dental Care for Children has delivered over $2 million in free dental care to over 10,000 destitute kids from the poorest areas of the immigrant communities in Southern California, to orphanages and schools in Mexico and Haiti. With throngs of dedicated volunteers, Dr. Tozzer has spearheaded the delivery of these crucial services to the children in orphanages and underprivileged school districts in Mexico, Haiti and Southern California. Artemis Crane partner and consultant Michael Rossi is shown here participating in a dental clinic in Mexico. We plan to continue such participation. You too can support this cause!
